Artist Talk with Kristin Reiber Harris

Narrows Botanical Gardens invites visitors to an artist talk with Bay Ridge artist and NBG Artist in Residence Kristin Reiber Harris.

Harris will discuss the inspiration and process behind A Celebration of Water Gardens, her outdoor exhibition featuring vibrant collages of real and imagined water gardens created through a monoprinting technique using hand-colored and textured papers. Installed along the Great Lawn and near the water garden on Shore Road, the works reflect the beauty and interconnectedness of plants and wildlife found in aquatic garden environments and draw inspiration from the landscapes of NBG. Visitors are invited to hear directly from the artist and learn more about the creative process behind this unique garden-based installation.
